World Accordion Day

For the first time in South Africa – a leading Accordion manufacturer from Italy is showcasing their products to the South African public!!!

A special pizza and wine evening celebrating the accordion will be hosted at the Drostdy Theatre in Stellenbosch on Sunday 11 June.
This event is not only for people who play the accordion.
People who love music and who enjoy the sound of the accordion can also join the festivities, and learn more about the history of this fascinating instrument.
Leading accordion manufacturer Siwa & Figli, based in Castelfidardo in Italy, considered by many as the accordion capital of the world, is sending two representatives specially for the occasion. They will treat guests to footage showcasing how accordions are built at their factory.
