Presented by Stanislav Angelov at Heuer Pianos, Stellenbosch
The evening will consist of a short concert with accordion music by local artist, Stanislav and supported with a Q & A session with more information about this fantastic musical instrument.
Stanislav will demonstrate and explain several different models of new accordions produced in Germany and Italy and available for purchase.

Stanislav Angelov, originally from Shumen (Bulgaria) received his first Accordion as a present from his parents at age of 5 and started formal music lessons in Accordion when he was 8 years old.
At the age of 10 he joined the Junior Accordion Orchestra and in 1984 he won a Gold Medal at the National Festival of Performing Arts in Bulgaria.
During the 1980s he recorded Accordion Music several times with the Accordion Orchestra for the local Radio Station. In 1985 he was accepted at The Academy of Music and Dance in Plovdiv-Bulgaria, where he studied Accordion with Prof. Peter Marinov and received a degree in Accordion in 1991, after which he taught at the “Constantine Preslavsky” University – Shumen. Until 1992 he had taken part in competitions and concerts in Bulgaria, France and Poland as a soloist or member of different ensembles or Accordion Orchestra.
In 1992 he moved to Cape Town where he performs, teaches and records as a soloist or guest artiste for other local productions. Since then, besides performing all over South Africa, he has toured and performed in Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Reunion Island, Namibia etc
Stanislav is a leader of the following Ensembles:
Cape Town Tango Ensemble (Bandoneón, Violin, Piano & Bass),
